本日は、地元静岡の弦師・澤山様のご協力のもと、学生の皆さまを対象に「弦作り講習会」を開催いたしました✨ 今回は、仕掛け作りから布巻きまで弦作りの一部を実際に体験していただきました👀💡 普段、職人の方と直接お話しする機会はなかなかありませんが、弦作りに使用する道具を間近で見たり、澤山様や従業員の方が作業される姿を見るなど貴重な学びの時間となりました。 普段何気なく使用している「弦」ですが、一本の弦が完成するまでにはさまざまな工程があります。 その一つひとつに職人のこだわりが込められ、長年培われてきた技術により弦の品質が支えられています。 今回の講習会が、学生の皆さまにとって弦や弓具への興味・理解をさらに深めるきっかけとなれば幸いです✨🏹 澤山様、そして従業員の皆さま、貴重な機会をいただきありがとうございました！ Today, with the kind cooperation of Mr. Sawayama, a local bowstring craftsman from Shizuoka, we held a “Bowstring Making Workshop” for students, giving them the opportunity to experience part of the bowstring-making process. ✨ They were able to try their hand at everything from making the string’s serving to wrapping the fabric around it. 👀💡 It is rare to have the opportunity to speak directly with a craftsman, so the students also had the chance to see tools they would not normally encounter and hear stories and insights from the craftsman himself. We may use bowstrings every day without giving them much thought, but each one goes through many processes, and the quality is supported by the skill, experience, and dedication of the craftsmen who make them. We hope this workshop gave the students an opportunity to develop a deeper interest in and understanding of bowstrings. ✨🏹
